This introductory module will give you a taste of what it’s like to be a tester and help you decide whether you enjoy this career path. The module consists of several lessons with a storyline in which you join a fictional department as an intern. Your new colleagues will help you to write reports on test results, find errors in web services and understand their structure, and conduct manual product testing.

In the first full module of the program, you will learn how to analyze and decompose product requirements, identify gray areas, and implement test design techniques. You’ll also learn about how testers function within a team, including whom they interact with and how they deliver feedback using written communication. In the final project at the end of the module, you will create test documentation for a routing application.

This module covers the basics of web application structure, including client-server architecture, front-end, back-end, URL, and HTTP. You'll compile a checklist of tests for the interface elements and learn how to work with industry tools such as Figma, DevTools, and Charles. At the end of the module, you will test a new routing interface.

In this module, you'll learn how to test mobile applications, work in the Android Studio emulator, practice setting logs, and get to grips with testing on a real device. You will also learn how to test APIs using Postman. At the end of the module, you'll test the Metro mobile application and the Counter API.

The fourth module of the program will introduce you to the browser console and cover the basics of databases. You’ll get to practice writing SQL queries and working with tables. You’ll combine all this knowledge and put it into practice in the module’s final project.

This is the final module before the graduation project. In it, you'll learn the basics of JavaScript, work with the Puppeteer library, and write your first automated tests. You'll also prepare for the final project using peer-to-peer learning, which means that you and your classmates will review each other’s previous projects and incorporate feedback on them.

This is the capstone project for the QA Engineering bootcamp. It will allow you to showcase your skillset to employers by incorporating everything you’ve learned throughout the program. To round off your education, you'll test the web and mobile versions and the API of the Scooter app, design and perform checks, and submit bug reports.

Towards the end of the QA bootcamp, multiple students join together to test a project for a real-world client. Our career team filters projects to make sure that they are interesting and provide a tangible benefit to the client.

Each student tests a part of the larger project, with the end goal of providing the client with a full bug report. We replicate the professional environment of a remote team as much as closely as possible, with a team lead, Agile sprints, and task tickets.

To cap off the project, each student makes a final presentation about their work.
