Excellent training to get a grip on front end development. I loved the way they make you start working on the real projects from week 1 (btw, the first week of the course is free). The assignments get harder as you progress. But it actually helps you focus more on the practical aspects of learning r... ather than getting stuck in watching the tutorial videos. You learn – you apply. All the concepts were clear. I personally needed more time to play around with Git and Webpack (maybe it's just me). But still, overall, this course is really good compared to some of the free tutorials I was referring to in the past. It gave me a properly structured knowledge about developing and publishing websites. Now I have a portfolio of practical projects and am currently building my resume. If you choose to complete this course, my advice is to keep practicing coding every day after you're done, until you find a job. Obviously, if that's the scope and you weren't learning just for fun. Read more
The most challenging and my absolute favorite part of the course was working on the final project!! I hated it, and I loved it! Overall, it was an outstanding learning experience. But this last month, when the training requires you to work on your final project, was a real breakthrough for me! Basic... ally, I had to go over all the course materials and review all the syntax errors I’ve made throughout the training. Furthermore, I had to put to work all the fresh knowledge and all the new skills to build my own website. You don't have to do any homework assignments during the final project period. But also you don't have the course mentors to correct your mistakes until the final submission. This was when I really learned how to find answers and solve problems on my own.I recommend this course to anyone interested in learning coding and web development. After submitting my final website for review, I feel confident that I can do it at a real-world job. Thank you!! Read more
* The material is very structured with great examples that make it clear and easy to learn.* The team makes it feel like home, always trying to assist with various issues and helping you to get through your track.* You can start practicing immediately in the course platform, and work on your project... s - the installation of the workspace on your PC is not a barrier! you can deal with it later.* The course takes you step-by-step with small amounts of theory and small tasks - a great thing if you deal with concentration difficulties!* There's practicing from the very begining, you code nice stuff before you notice.* All the topics you need for your projects are covered in the course texts, no need to drown in a sea of information - you'll know what to search for.* Very organized forum for questions about tasks which makes it easy to find what you need quickly.* All the necessary material is textual, the videos are usually just a bonus - a great advantage if you are the type of person that loves texts and despises videos like me :)Besides that, I think you'll need to develop a good coding style on your own, and search for efficient and aesthetic ways to implement your code. I came to this course with some experience in Python coding and with a BSc in electrical engineering, but I don't think that's necessary for studying. Read more

I was able to do the intro course and I really learned a lot! It was fun to do and I was able to follow along with the tutorials well. It was nice to learn a new skill. I wish I would have had time to do the full course. I think I would have really liked it!
The most valuable part of this bootcamp was the abundance of group collaboration projects you get to sign up for and gain experience from. In all my tech interviews, I was able to bring up these valuable team work experiences and stand out from the rest. Team work is very important in this field and... only having solo projects in your portfolio isn't the optimal way to go. Practicum has code jams, apiary projects, pair programming, senior students and other opportunities you can work with others in coding. The curriculum itself is very comprehensive as well, given 10 months. I felt very confident in my skills upon graduation, especially with my frontend skills including vanilla CSS, vanilla JS and React. One thing I will point out is that this bootcamp may be very challenging if students enroll without any prior knowledge of programing or basic computer literacy. You will be asked to work with command lines, terminals, git right away. I also see lots of people struggle with JS and responsive design. This is not a handholding bootcamp where things will be fed to your mouth. Utilize the resources you have and try your darn best to work hard, and then this will be a blast. Read more
At first, I didn't really know if what I was getting into would be worth it or not. For some one like me, I have done nothing but physical labor my entire life, constantly moving, always using my hands to see the work I have done. Because of this I didn't know how I would respond to doing a differen... t type of work, where I'm sitting down in one place and on a computer (I'm not tech savvy at all). I have very little experience with computers but I was referred the program by someone close to me as a new outlook on work. One where I would not have to physical pain or tiredness to get my money. So I signed up for the trial week just to test it out. At first it was a little overwhelming, but I kept thinking, it would be worth it for a better life. The instructions and interactive course were clear, and it used examples and explanations to drive the point across in a way you can understand. After the week course, at the end you are given a mini project, and by the time you finish you've made this small, simple webpage, and you feel accomplished that you actually made something. It reminded me of hands on work just instead of physically making something, you created something digitally. I felt eager to learn more. So I signed up for the full course and it got more challenging, "how can I remember all of this information?" is how I started to feel. How it's structured though is learning through practice, where each lesson you're learning something new but building on things you previously learned. Sometimes I would get stuck but if you ever feel stuck they have a whole community willing to help and share ideas! There's other students learning the same thing so they might have similar questions and post them in their respective forums, so that students and tutors can respond. Other times I needed a more detailed explanation and a tutor is always more than willing to hop on a video call to explain something to you in a way you can understand. There's also regular coworking hours with the tutors daily (I strongly encourage logging in) where you can interact and ask questions or see what other students are working on. You have more than enough support if you feel stuck and as you continue you get better each day. The projects at the end of each sprint further your understanding of what you have been working on and you start making more and more complex webpages, and you see how far you've come and what you are able to make. There's a sense of pride and excitement you make, and I continue to look forward to things I am learning and what I will be able to do. Read more
