The most valuable part of this bootcamp was the abundance of group collaboration projects you get to sign up for and gain experience from. In all my tech interviews, I was able to bring up these valuable team work experiences and stand out from the rest. Team work is very important in this field and... only having solo projects in your portfolio isn't the optimal way to go. Practicum has code jams, apiary projects, pair programming, senior students and other opportunities you can work with others in coding. The curriculum itself is very comprehensive as well, given 10 months. I felt very confident in my skills upon graduation, especially with my frontend skills including vanilla CSS, vanilla JS and React. One thing I will point out is that this bootcamp may be very challenging if students enroll without any prior knowledge of programing or basic computer literacy. You will be asked to work with command lines, terminals, git right away. I also see lots of people struggle with JS and responsive design. This is not a handholding bootcamp where things will be fed to your mouth. Utilize the resources you have and try your darn best to work hard, and then this will be a blast. Read more

At first, I didn't really know if what I was getting into would be worth it or not. For some one like me, I have done nothing but physical labor my entire life, constantly moving, always using my hands to see the work I have done. Because of this I didn't know how I would respond to doing a differen... t type of work, where I'm sitting down in one place and on a computer (I'm not tech savvy at all). I have very little experience with computers but I was referred the program by someone close to me as a new outlook on work. One where I would not have to physical pain or tiredness to get my money. So I signed up for the trial week just to test it out. At first it was a little overwhelming, but I kept thinking, it would be worth it for a better life. The instructions and interactive course were clear, and it used examples and explanations to drive the point across in a way you can understand. After the week course, at the end you are given a mini project, and by the time you finish you've made this small, simple webpage, and you feel accomplished that you actually made something. It reminded me of hands on work just instead of physically making something, you created something digitally. I felt eager to learn more. So I signed up for the full course and it got more challenging, "how can I remember all of this information?" is how I started to feel. How it's structured though is learning through practice, where each lesson you're learning something new but building on things you previously learned. Sometimes I would get stuck but if you ever feel stuck they have a whole community willing to help and share ideas! There's other students learning the same thing so they might have similar questions and post them in their respective forums, so that students and tutors can respond. Other times I needed a more detailed explanation and a tutor is always more than willing to hop on a video call to explain something to you in a way you can understand. There's also regular coworking hours with the tutors daily (I strongly encourage logging in) where you can interact and ask questions or see what other students are working on. You have more than enough support if you feel stuck and as you continue you get better each day. The projects at the end of each sprint further your understanding of what you have been working on and you start making more and more complex webpages, and you see how far you've come and what you are able to make. There's a sense of pride and excitement you make, and I continue to look forward to things I am learning and what I will be able to do. Read more

Completing the sprints meant that I was capable of doing the projects and the tasks assigned to me. With each project completed, I feel a little more confident each time. I think the most effective parts of the course are definitely the projects. The projects in a way force you to be resourceful and... reach out for help from the tutors if needed, which aids in the learning experience. What skills and knowledge did you gain? Not only have I gained hards skills in python, SQL, and Tableau, but I've become much more adept at learning and looking for answers on my own. I'm feeling a little more confident in the job search and I'm hoping to get a job in Data Science soon. Read more

Decided to finally take a step forward towards my dream job. After being in the automotive and suffering one of the slowest seasons in the industry, wanted to change my career for the better. After taking incredible consideration, I chose TripleTen and their QA Engineering program. I’m currently on ... my last project and my experience so far has been amazing. Everyone from the project manager, tutor, and other students have been very helpful. They assist on helping you understand the material and the project at the end of each sprint. Every time I finished and gotten my project passed for approval, I feel a little closer to becoming an engineering and understanding what the tech industry has in store for my future career. After I finish and get approval for my project, I’m looking forward to the career prep assistant program at the end, can’t wait to start applying for companies, and finally step into my dream career. At the time of writing this review, I am employed as an English teacher; however, I have long sought an opportunity to transition into a new career that aligns with my interests and aspirations. Given the challenges associated with changing careers abruptly, I found this online Bootcamp to be an ide... al option for me. I am nearing the end of my journey as a student in the Software-Engineer Bootcamp and I must say that it was an incredible experience. The curriculum was well structured and covered all the essential topics needed to become a competent software engineer. The course was comprehensive and intense, so I was challenged throughout the program. The course also included numerous projects that allowed us to apply the knowledge we learned to real-world scenarios. These projects were an excellent way to gain hands-on experience and build a strong portfolio of work. Overall, I would highly recommend this software engineer bootcamp course to anyone who is serious about pursuing a career in software engineering. It was an excellent investment of my time and money, and I feel confident that I now have the skills and knowledge required to excel in this field. Read more

I decided to enroll in the Data Science program after years of experience as a Video Technician and Visual Artist. I had used coding only briefly for installations and personal interest. The course begins with a solid breakdown of Python and had examples and exercises to get me up to speed with the ... language. I really enjoy the layout of the program as it is self paced, flexible, and plenty of resources from the site and tutors involved. In the program you complete a series of sprints that all contain projects based on real world examples for your portfolio, as well as having a good amount of career prep. I am currently completing this course but have no doubts it will help to achieve my Data Science goals. Read more

When I first delved into software boot camps, the reviews left me skeptical, but TripleTen stood out. Initially unsure of what to expect, I quickly got into the groove. For a while I didn't need the help of the tutors, but as I delved deeper, they became a crucial resource. I have fully graduated fr... om the program now, and overall my experience was stellar. The tutors were consistently there when I needed them, and the code reviewers offered super helpful feedback. Overall, TripleTen's software engineer boot camp exceeded my expectations. I was easily able to grasp the material, and I appreciated the gradual reduction in hand-holding as I progressed through the sprints. The emphasis on real-world projects, externship programs, and their free SQL course showcased TripleTen's dedication to a well-rounded learning experience. Read more
