Where AI gives an effect in a business process and where it does not. You collect candidate processes, interview the process owner, map the process as is, fix the baseline before any change (time, money, errors), compare the options (drop the work, simplify it, plain automation, AI, buy ready-made) and rank them by effect, difficulty and risk.
By the end you have a first business case for the process you chose.

You turn a work task into a brief for AI: what is needed, for whom, in what format, how to tell the result is good. You choose the context, documents, data and examples, and what to keep out. You get structured output, build a knowledge base without code, brief an agent (goal, steps, tools, where it stops and asks a person) and rework the brief until the result is stable across different inputs.
By the end you have a first version of an assistant for your process and a set of test inputs.

You break the process into steps and decide what AI does, what a plain rule does and what a person does. You build an automation with an AI step: trigger, steps, conditions, a human check. You build an agent with tools and set what it may do, what data it sees and where it hands the work back to a person. How systems talk to each other: API requests and keys, webhooks and HTTP steps, custom connectors, and MCP to connect an agent to a working system. Where code is unavoidable, you write a simple script with an AI assistant.

You build a test set from real cases: ordinary, edge and critical, with reference answers. An AI automation specialist builds the automations and AI agents that move work between a company’s systems, like the CRM, ticketing, and ERP, and keeps them running after launch. Job postings also call this role AI Agents & Automation Specialist, AI implementation specialist, or AI integration specialist.
How do I become an AI automation specialist?
Start from a process you already run. AI automation specialist postings ask for hands-on experience with business systems like CRM, ERP, or ticketing, plus skills in APIs, Python, no-code automation tools, and AI agents. AI Agents & Automation adds those skills in 4–5 months part-time and ends with four projects and a final project review.
Who is the AI Agents & Automation program for?
It’s for professionals with 2+ years running a recurring process and the systems behind it: revenue and sales operations, business and process analysts, SaaS implementation and onboarding, and support operations. If you configure tools every day but still file a ticket to IT when an integration breaks, this program teaches you to build and fix it yourself.
Is this program new?
Yes. AI Agents & Automation launched in October 2026 and replaces TripleTen’s earlier AI Automation program for beginners.
Is this an AI automation bootcamp?
TripleTen moved past the bootcamp model in 2026 and is now a professional education platform. AI Agents & Automation is a 4–5-month part-time program for professionals with 2+ years running processes and systems, built around four projects in a virtual company and a final project review.
I’m not a coder. Can I still learn AI automation?
Yes. For the first 9 weeks, you’ll build automations and agents without code. Then you’ll write Python with an AI coding assistant and learn to own what it wrote: read it, understand it, and fix it. You’ll also learn Git, automated tests, and how to find the cause of an error in the logs.
Will AI automate my operations job?
Vendors are switching on AI assistants inside helpdesks and CRMs, and someone has to connect, test, and maintain them. Your knowledge of the process and its edge cases is what makes an automation reliable. This program adds the skills to build that automation yourself, so you own it instead of waiting for IT.
Do I have to start my career over?
No. The program builds on your current experience, and you’ll add AI skills on top of it. Before you start, you’ll get a target list of 10–15 real job openings that you’ll work towards.
Am I too old to move into AI?
No. In these roles, experience matters more than age. Job postings ask for skills like knowing a process and its edge cases, working with other teams, and knowing how an industry works, and those come with years at work. The program is built for experienced professionals, so a long career works in your favor.
Is a certificate enough without a degree?
A certificate won’t replace a degree where a posting requires one. What it adds is proof you can apply AI to your work: four projects with before-and-after numbers, a final project review by a manager who hires for similar roles, and a certificate listing the role requirements you closed.
How long does the program take, and can I study with a full-time job?
The program runs online and part-time, and takes 4–5 months if you study 10–12 hours a week, so you can keep your full-time job. If work gets busy, you can pause once for up to 4 weeks.
What AI automation projects will I complete?
You’ll work in a virtual company with 18 months of operational data and system sandboxes. You’ll find where your team loses time, build an AI agent and test it on 200 past records, rebuild that agent in code and connect it to a working system, then automate a process between teams: deal closed, CRM updated, client emailed, invoice data sent to accounting.
Which AI automation tools will I learn?
You’ll work with Python, GitHub, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI Foundry, plus LangChain, LangGraph, and Langfuse for agents in code. For integrations, you’ll use HubSpot, Salesforce, ServiceNow, n8n, and Workato. Lessons aren’t tied to one tool, so you can pick another one for your project if you can explain why it fits.
Will I learn to build AI agents?
Yes. You’ll build AI agents two ways. First without code in Copilot Studio, publishing them in Teams, a website, or the CRM. Then in Python with model APIs like Claude and OpenAI, LangChain and LangGraph, retrieval (RAG) over a company knowledge base, and human checks for actions an agent shouldn’t tackle alone.
How is this program different from AI Transformation Management?
AI Agents & Automation teaches you to build the automation yourself, step by step, and keep it running. AI Transformation Management teaches you to carry an AI solution through a company so people use it. If you own systems and processes, choose Agents & Automation. If you lead projects and people, choose Transformation Management.
How will I know my AI agents are reliable?
You’ll build an evaluation set from past cases, including edge cases, and run it before every change so a fix doesn’t break it. In production, you’ll set up monitoring, alerts, cost tracking, and a human handoff for cases the agent shouldn’t handle.
What career support will I get?
After the final project review, you’ll get a résumé built from your four projects, applications to specific openings through our platform, AI mock interview practice for each opening, a live mock interview with a coach before a real interview, and offer negotiation prep. Career support lasts up to 6 months after graduation.
How much does the AI Agents & Automation program cost?
Tuition is $9,900 upfront, in one payment or 2 or 4 payments. A monthly plan costs $15,000 total: 12 months with $500 down and $1,208 a month, or 18 months with $750 down and $792 a month.
